EMI shielding and heat dissipation from one supplier
A device that emits interference, or picks it up from the equipment around it, fails its EMC tests or behaves erratically in the field. The leak seldom comes from the metal walls of the enclosure. It comes through the openings: a door, a removable panel, the seam between two covers. That is where our EMI/RFI shielding products go. Conductive foam gaskets suit lightweight enclosures, because they need very little force to compress. Conductive silicone gaskets, filled with nickel-graphite or silver particles, shield and seal against water and dust at the same time. Contact fingers in beryllium copper or stainless steel maintain electrical contact on doors opened and closed up to around a million times. Depending on the material and the frequency, shielding effectiveness ranges from 40 dB to more than 100 dB.
Heat is the other threat to electronics: a component that runs too hot ages faster and loses performance. Between that component and its heat sink there is usually a small, uneven gap filled with air, and air conducts heat poorly. Our silicone thermal pads fill that gap. They range from 0.3 to 15 mm thick and from 1.6 to 5 W/m·K, and they are soft enough to follow the surfaces without putting stress on the board. These soft thermal interface materials also provide electrical insulation (5 kV/mm dielectric strength) and are rated UL 94 V-0. Alongside our EMC/EMI shielding range, you will find them in automotive, medical, aerospace, telecoms and industrial equipment.
Our EMC and thermal solutions
Five product families, one team to help you choose.
Choose your sector below to see the constraints it brings and the products most often used to meet them.
Every environment has its own problem. In a vehicle, it is vibration and repeated temperature swings. Next to a motor or a variable-speed drive, it is electrical noise strong enough to upset the electronics nearby. In a medical device, it is plain reliability, day after day. Whatever the case, the shielding or thermal part has to fit into your existing design, ideally without redrawing the enclosure. That is the first thing we check when we select a product.
Our products go into aerospace systems, medical devices, vehicles, industrial installations, civil projects and defence equipment. Some customers need a few custom-cut gaskets for a prototype; others order the same part in series. We look at the same three things for both: how the part holds up over time, whether it performs the same from one batch to the next, and how easily your team can fit it.
Years of EMC and thermal work on projects for major medical, aerospace and electronics companies, now put to work on yours.
Materials from certified suppliers, full traceability and a double quality check before anything is shipped.
